Ideally people with hotel like expectations should not book such places but yes if you are ready to ignore a few slips here and there, it is a fantastic place to stay. I booked the 2 rooms at ground floor and the space was perfect for us. It was 2 rooms attached to a drawing room cum kitchen area. Rooms were clean, spacious and everything was well maintained. TV in the drawing room needed recharge and owner should look into it. Actually if you come with kids then TV becomes mandatory to keep them engaged. Food served was homely and very tasty. I would recommend having dinner at property rather than venturing outside in the dark. Location is a little secluded but cannot do much with that. I can see that the owner cares about the property and wants to deliver a good experience. I was happy with my stay and would recommend families on a budget to consider this place.

Amazing place to stay for all kind of groups (friends, family and couples). Located in a beautiful place near Lovedale. Near to elk hills, emarald dam, Avalanchi echo point etc. There is space for parking car, tempo traveller. Rooms are super sexy!! Very poshed and good. Bathroom is good but there is no bathtub. Spacious, with lot of light, very good and healthy surroundings. Probably, a heater in rooms will be very helpful for the weather, which is not there as of now. Food prepared is nice! Very good host Mr. Santosh is very customer friendly. Overall great experience and thumbs up.

No, we booked the place for 3 nights but on the second night itself they started harassing us by calling past 10pm asking for the payment and when we didn't answer the call, the caretaker started ringing the doorbell continuously and said that the owner of the place was not letting him sleep until he got the payment from us. Such disgusting behaviour. We were 3 families staying here along with our children.

Location was not as posted in other reviews... Room was very bad and not worth the price.. We booked double room which is in ground floor next to parking and caretaker room, so you won't have the privacy at all.. Room was very small and not as pics posted in booking sites.. 1st floor and 2nd floor they have 2 and 3 bedroom, probably they might be good, but we booked double room seeing those photos which was completely different.. Service wise it was good and bad... The caretaker santhosh provided tastey good and tea but haven't provided kettle soap and towels until we asked..and tv was not working even after asking so many times. and he was showing face when we ask something and was talking behind us ( words we heard behind us - " continuously asking something tv not working, hot water, tea").

Pros : 1. Cool place to stay in ooty. 2. Located outside the main city in a very tranquil place. 3. Food was delicious and home made. 4. Idly as Complimentary breakfast with Sambar and Chutney. 5. Clean and Tidy rooms. 6. Good for both Family and Friends. 7. Mr. Santhosh who took care of us was super helpful. Cons: 1. We can reach the Property through 2 different roads. One of the roads is mediocre and the other road is steep and is not properly maintained which makes it hard for SUVs to reach the property through that road. Better get help from locals to reach there instead of following the Google Maps. Go for it if you want a very good stay which isn't a bit pricey.

Honest confession ..If you are reading this ...Don't trust this place Long story short - They fooled us! They already had booking and yet they overbooked via Agoda, booking.com, MMT Whe we reached this place, there wasn't anyone to help us out..imagine this... standing on the road in the middle of the valley And, we were not alone, there was a couple in front of us who had the same issue Literally, none of us got any help or any apology from the hotel So, my suggestion is think 100 times before trusting or booking this place

Snow Drops is a very nice place for the families. Very much impressive and the rooms are very neat . The atmosphere is also very good .Untapped place hence great fun .Very safe and secure for us. It was best moments for me and my family. And also the food is very good. We liked very much.
